Dr. Chrystal is a practitioner, lecturer, author, and researcher. Dr. Chrystal works in the specialty fields of Chiropractic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management and Regenerative Medicine. After suffering from a life changing injury when he was younger, Dr. Chrystal has been through many surgeries and went through years of rehabilitation. This experience, as well as losing a parent to cancer at a young age, drove him to become a doctor himself.
Dr. Chrystal truly understands and empathizes with chronic pain and how it can affect every aspect of his patient’s lives. After studying biology and kinesiology in his undergraduate work, Dr. Chrystal went to and with highest honors obtained his first doctorate in Chiropractic. Still, Dr. Chrystal knew there was more he could do to help. Wanting to work holistically and truly integrate medicine, he decided to go back to earn another doctorate, this time in medical school. Practicing, researching, and treating himself while in school, Dr. Chrystal earned, again with highest honors, his second doctorate as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor.
Dr. Chrystal has authored and contributed to numerous published articles in medical journals and chapters in textbooks. Dr. Chrystal is an expert in kinesiology, fitness, nutrition, pain intervention and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Chrystal is noted for being exceptional at explaining complicated ideas, so his patients understand everything from lab work, advanced imaging results, procedures, and pathophysiology. The word doctor comes from the Latin word Docere meaning “to teach”. Dr. Chrystal has always taken this to heart and feels communication is key to understanding, treatment comfort and ultimately key to individual success and overall patient outcomes. With his unique qualifications and background, Dr. Chrystal works successfully with patients of all ages and backgrounds, feeling helping others is his calling in life.
